MOU Signed with T1 Esports Academy

LunaTone Inc. (Head Office: Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Baro Hyun; hereinafter “LunaTone”) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with T1 Esports Academy (hereinafter “T1A”), the educational arm of global esports powerhouse T1 ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS CO., LTD. (Head Office: Seoul, South Korea; hereinafter “T1”), to launch a joint educational initiative aimed at fostering esports business talent in the Japanese market.

Through this partnership, both organizations will collaborate to promote talent development and strengthen the industry foundation of the esports business through the following initiatives:

・Development and structuring of esports education curricula
・Implementation of educational programs targeting students, young professionals, and working adults
・Career pathway support including internship opportunities
・Promotion and public engagement through domestic and international events

T1 Esports Academy is a specialized educational institution operated by T1, designed to cultivate the next generation of professional esports players. With over 1,700 participants to date, it has produced numerous professional players through its structured and comprehensive training programs.

LunaTone, on the other hand, has built a strong track record in delivering practical, industry-connected education programs in collaboration with institutions such as Temple University Japan, University of Tsukuba, Hannan University in Japan and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the US. LunaTone also works closely with local governments including Ibaraki Prefecture and Osaka City. Known for its project-based learning model and direct engagement with industry professionals, LunaTone’s educational approach has been widely praised for bridging education and real-world business.

This new program is scheduled to roll out in phases starting this fall, with LunaTone overseeing program operations in collaboration with domestic universities, vocational colleges, and international schools in Japan. Select high-performing students will be offered internship opportunities at T1, LunaTone, and affiliated organizations, supporting their global career development.

By combining the global prestige and structured pedagogy of T1 and T1A with LunaTone’s on-the-ground business curriculum and implementation capacity, this partnership seeks to establish a new model for esports education in Japan and reinforce the industry’s long-term ecosystem.

T1 Esports Academyと提携覚書を締結

LunaTone Inc.（本社：東京都港区六本木、CEO：ヒョン・バロ、以下、LunaTone）は、韓国を代表する世界的eスポーツチーム「T1」を運営する「T1 ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS CO., LTD.」（本社：ソウル、以下「T1」）が展開するT1 Esports Academy（以下、T1A）と、日本市場における人材育成を目的としたビジネスカリキュラムの教育連携に関する提携覚書（MOU）を2025年5月に締結いたしました。

本提携により、両社はeスポーツビジネスにおける人材の育成と産業基盤の強化に向けて、以下の取り組みを共同で推進していきます。

・eスポーツ教育カリキュラムの開発と体系化
・若年層・学生・社会人を対象とした教育プログラムの実施
・インターンシップを含むキャリアパス支援の強化
・国内外のイベントや啓発活動を通じた普及・促進

T1 Esports Academyは、世界的なeスポーツチームであるT1が運営するプロゲーマーを育成するための教育機関です。体系的かつ専門的な教育を提供しており、これまで1700名以上が受講し、多くのプロゲーマーを輩出している実績があります。また、LunaToneはこれまで、日本ではテンプル大学ジャパンキャンパス・筑波大学・阪南大学などの大学及びアメリカのミシガン大学・テネシー大学などの海外大学、そして茨城県・大阪市などの自治体と連携しながらビジネス講座やクリエイター育成などの実務直結型のオリジナル教育プログラムを多数展開してきました。受講者が実際のプロジェクトや業界関係者と関わることを重視した弊社のアプローチは、教育とビジネスの架け橋として高い評価を得ています。
